Quilt Shops I've Known and Loved

As I travel across the country, I stop in quilt shops everywhere I find one. Unfortunately, I didn't think of snapping pictures and putting them up on a web page until September! I will continue, from this point, putting up pictures shops I found to be worth the time to stop.

You may have favorite shops that are in the same areas, and they don't wind up on my page. That might be because I didn't find them, they were closed, or I didn't like them. Size is never an issue. I've liked tiny shops and great huge ones. Service is everything!

States are in alphabetical order. Linked shops have photographs.

            • Memories By The Yard, 6816 Huebner Road, (210) 520-4833
              fabulous hand-dyed fabrics
I visited this shop, but had unfortunately left my camera at the previous shop. They are no longer on Huebner Rd., but are close by. The phone number is the same. They have 6000 sq. ft. now and about 1/3 of that is decorator fabrics. The sale table is fabulous!

            Castroville:

            • Fabric & Friends, 1103 Fiorella Street, (830) 931-0141
I absolutely loved this shop. It's a block off the highway, and if you can't find it, stop at the BBQ place and ask where Fiorella is. That's how I found it. Well worth your time.
