Dad's RV Park in Victoria,
TX, is one of the nicer privately owned parks we've visited. There are
many Winter Texans here, as well as a regular mobile home section where
families live. It's on a fairly quiet street, with a park across the
street, and a lovely greasy spoon restaurant next door. If you like
deep-fat fried foods, that's the place to go.
Dad's offers many amenities,
including a laundry room with TV and comfy chairs, a clubhouse with a
huge kitchen, and wide spaces. It does not have WiFi, but you can go
into the office with a modem.
The people at Dad's are
great! Friendly, trusting, and trust-worthy people, owners and visitors
alike, make this a good stop on your trip. It was $24/night, but they
honored either our Escapees card and charged us $19. These pictures
were taken early on a foggy, misty morning.
