I'm proud to say that Sue Nebeker is a friend of mine. She is the guiding force behind the American Hero Quilts project, making quilts for wounded soldiers who come to Madigan Hospital at Ft. Lewis, Washington and the VA hospital near there. What started as a one-time deal has turned into an on-going deal.
