I retired in May, 2005, after 28 years of teaching. For the final 3 years of my career, I moved with my class from first through third grade. After retirement, I decided to make each child a quilt.

At the end of the year, they all had a lap quilt! These are some of the ones which are finished. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me the day I gave the first half of the quilts away. There were also quilts for Alexis (dinosaur), Nicolas (basketball similar to Eric's), Miguel (scrappy with cat fabrics), Vanessa (Dora the Explorer - what else!), and bright scrappy quilts for Cesar and Alexia.
